Food & Beverage Attendant

Located within The Hotel Britomart, Kingi is a vibrant waterfront restaurant where guests come together to connect, celebrate and enjoy exceptional food and service.

We're looking for enthusiastic and personable Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team on a part-time basis, 16-20 hours per week.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering warm, engaging and attentive service to restaurant guests.
• Taking food and beverage orders and confidently guiding guests through our menu.
• Serving food and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Sharing knowledge of our menu, local produce and beverages.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming dining environment.
• Assisting with restaurant set-up and pack-down.
• Working collaboratively with the kitchen and wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Bringing to life The Hotel Britomart's service philosophies: Remember Me, Opportunities to Delight, The Gift of Storytelling and Celebrate Aotearoa.

What We're Looking For

• Previous Food & Beverage experience in a restaurant, café, hotel or similar hospitality environment.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• A current Food Handlers certificate is advantageous but not required.
