About the Role
We're looking for a warm, confident and service-focused Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team (30 hours per week). As one of the first and last people our guests meet, you'll create memorable experiences from a warm "Kia Ora" on arrival to a genuine "Haere rā" on departure. You'll embody our service philosophy by remembering our guests, finding opportunities to delight and confidently sharing the stories of our hotel, neighbourhood and Aotearoa.
What You'll Do
- Deliver warm, professional and personalised guest service at every interaction.
- Be a knowledgeable ambassador for The Hotel Britomart, kingi and the Britomart precinct.
- Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest enquiries efficiently.
- Support valet parking, luggage assistance and guest requests.
- Process mail, messages and deliveries accurately.
- Contribute to exceptional guest satisfaction, NPS and Hotel performance ratings.
- Work collaboratively across departments and cross-train in Night Audit as required.
About You
You'll be someone who naturally enjoys making people feel welcome and takes pride in creating memorable experiences.
You'll also bring:

- Previous experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel or similar premium hospitality environment (preferred).
- Experience with Opera or Protel (advantageous).
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Valid New Zealand working rights.
