Maintenance Manager


About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance team and ensure the seamless operation of our hotel facilities.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving preventative maintenance strategies, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing environment for both guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all maintenance operations across the property
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs and schedules
  • Manage maintenance budgets, cost control initiatives.
  • Build and manage contractor relationships and service agreements
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory, and statutory requirements
  • Lead, coach and develop a multi-skilled maintenance team
  • Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in a similar Maintenance Manager or senior engineering role
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in building or hotel maintenance
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams and contractors
  • Highly organised with strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills
  • Solid understanding of building systems, compliance, and safety standards
  • Trade qualification and/or engineering diploma preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to respond to after-hours issues when required
