Room Attendant | Permanent Part-Time

16 hours per week | 2 days per week

Join the Housekeeping team at The Hotel Britomart, where attention to detail, genuine care and beautifully presented spaces are at the heart of the guest experience.

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Room Attendant to join us in a permanent part-time position, working 16 hours across two days each week.

About the role

You’ll play an important part in ensuring our guest rooms are beautifully presented and ready to welcome our guests. Your day will include:

• Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to our high standards
• Making beds and refreshing linen, towels and amenities
• Ensuring bathrooms and guest areas are spotless
• Responding promptly to guest requests
• Maintaining your housekeeping trolley, equipment and work areas
• Reporting maintenance issues, lost property or guest concerns
• Caring for guest belongings and maintaining privacy and security
• Following our health, safety and sustainability practices
• Working closely with Housekeeping, Front Office and Maintenance teams.

About you

You don’t necessarily need hotel experience. We can teach you our standards if you bring the right attitude.

You’ll be someone who:

• Takes real pride in creating beautifully presented spaces
• Has an excellent eye for detail
• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
• Enjoys an active, hands-on role
• Brings a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
• Is comfortable with the physical requirements of housekeeping, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing and lifting
• Can communicate confidently with guests and team members

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred, but not essential.
