We are seeking capable and experienced professionals to join The Hotel Britomart in the position of Senior Room Attendant.

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the pristine condition of all spaces within the hotel and event spaces.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience in housekeeping in a 4 to 5-star hotel.

• Eye for detail coupled with a strong ability to proactively identify, prioritize and manage multiple tasks, and successfully accomplish objectives in a busy and challenging workplace.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent presentation and grooming.

Day to day tasks include: 

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridor and other work areas.
• Organize and restock cart and housekeeping trolley at the end of shift.
• Report room maintenance to supervisors.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests.
• Report any missing items from the room and any suspicious activities.
• Demonstrated excellent attention to detail.
• Response to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in all areas of the hotel.
• Perform deep cleaning and sanitizing of all guest rooms.
• Assist with the ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of all guest rooms.
• Help supervisor’s on multi tasking for smooth daily operations.
• Check and restock minibar in all guest rooms.
• Responsible for assisting the guest with anything regarding the rooms
• Self-check and release rooms in absence of supervisor
